Life's Learning Lessons
I can tell you what I didn’t have a chance to get used to…sleeping
in. Back up before the sun, we had to meet at 7:30 to go get tickets for the
Sumo Wrestling match that was to take place later in the evening. I mean, I’d
love to see two fat guys wrestle in form of pure entertainment just as much as the
next guy, but at the cost of losing sleep is kind of extreme. Nonetheless, all
of the troops were rallied and we were at the box office before 8:00. After
arriving at the box office, we saw that the line would be very long, so Dr. V
instructed us to go ahead to class and he would meet us there. Once we got to
class, we were greeted by our friend Yusuke who sat through a lecture with us.
After class was over, I went with some friends to get some food. Once we got
food, we journeyed to Ginza Station to complete the homework assignment that
was given to us by Dr. V. I was extremely exhausted due to the early start to
the day that we had experienced, so I went to the hostel to go to sleep. I
slept until it was time to go see the Sumo Wrestling match. Upon arriving at
the stadium, we found that we missed the Sumo Wrestling match. We then ventured
back to Ginza Station to try out a restaurant that we noticed earlier in the
day. We spent about an hour trying to locate the restaurant because we got
lost. Once we found a nice restaurant, we sat down and had the best business dialogue
that I have ever engaged in throughout my entire life. Tonight, I realized that
I was in a pretty intelligent and insightful group. I’m starting to learn the
importance of valuing the people around me.
