Japan Day 17, Hiroshima

Today was a very interesting  day. The mood for most of the Hiroshima group was very somber. Everyone seemed to be in their own state of self reflection after seeing the destruction caused by the first A-Bomb. Witnessing the horrific travesties caused by nuclear weapons, shows that war knows no limits. Japan refused surrender, even after seeing this bombing take place, which ultimately led to a second bombing. War is an ugly thing, and this was a first hand experience of just how ugly it really is.
