Today was an interesting day. It started out earlier then usual with us meeting Dr.V in front of the hostel. we travled to the sumo wrestling house to get our tickets and then went off to class. after class we got some conveyor belt sushi around the area where our hostel is. This sushi was really good but also somewhat expensive it was priced by the plate so you could get as many as you wanted as long as you could ay for it. In ended up spending about 680 yin. After some pricy but not so much filling sushi we then went walking around the market area around Asauska and bought some Taiyaki this is one of my favorite Japanese desserts so you can expect I really enjoyed it. After my taiyaki adventure I went to genza to complete the assignment Dr.V had given me. I went around the district taking pictures of different types of stores, we found a convenient store, a department store, a category killer store, a specialty retail store and a lifestyle shopping center. after got all my info for my assignment I was able to get a little bit of a workout done. After that we were supposed to go to sumo wrestling but it turnes out we had the wrong information about the start time so sumo did not happen. Instead of sumo we went to Ikbukeru and hung out there for a while, we played a lot of games and hung out in different stores, we also managed to get a bite to eat at an awesome restraunt where I got some spicy pork romen. After that we went back to the hostel. Intresting, awesome, long day!!!

While in Genza I found this family mart. Which is an example of a convenient store, the reason why it is a convenient store is because it is in a spot with a lot of people passing through which puts it into this catigory.

This would be known as a category killer store because it has one iteam that the have everything that you could want about that certain product.

this would be known as a Specialty retail store. because it specializes  in one type retail, in this cse it was electronics.

This would be considered a department store because of the multiple variety of things they sold on each floor.

This would be considered a life style shopping center because of its many stores and it's many different advertisements  on how you should live your life to be current and cool. It also idolized a lot of famous people and there lifestyle.
