Entry 5

Today was an awesome day. we woke up this morning and went to class by ourselves for the first time. after class we went to go get food and then we ventured to Sinsoji temple. This was truly a sight to behold the temple was huge with a very distinct eastern cultural architectural structure. during the time we were in Sinsoji there was a festival going on. This was a very unique opportunity  for me because this festival only happens once a year. There was all kinds of awesome food and traditional Japanese clothing. I also got to see the people carrying the shrine and chanting traditional Japanese phrases. After the festival we went to Shibuya and ate some awesome food. This was one of the first traditional Japanese restaurnt that I have been in sense being in japan, after this we walked around Shibuya.
