Today was the first day we visited Chou University. Its a beautiful university filled with a beautiful student body. Strange though to know that not everyone is quite so accepting to see Americans, African Americans may I add.
As I was walking down the street, this little girl, probably around 5, turned the corner and saw us. Next thing I see she takes off running and falls and chips one of her teeth. I did not know how to response to the situation. So to avoid making it worst, I stood back. One of my friends motioned a Japanese man to handle what was happening.
We sent most of our time at the University meeting with our Japanese buddies. It was fun. We asked questions about their culture and vise versa. We ended the university trip with dinner with all of our new Japanese friends. We exchanged face book info so we could talk later.
After returning to the hostel after a long day, some of us decided to end to day singing at a Karaoke at a Karaoke bar. It was a great bonding experience for us who went. Japanese karaoke is may different then the one in the states.
