Today was one of the most eventful fun days I have had so far in Japan. I slept until about 8:30 this morning got up and had a nice 7/11 breakfast. After that I met up with Ryan and my buddies in Akihabara. We started out our excursion by a trip to an awesome sashimi restaurant that was 100 percent on point, there was a really complicated way of preparing it right in order to get the full experience of the dish, my buddy took at least 10 minutes to help me understand how to do it. After I finally figured it out I enjoyed it to it's full potential. After we finished eating it was on to the many anime/game/monga shops that make up the electric city of Akihabara. First we went into an anime shop known as animate, i'm pretty sure we spent at least 20 minutes in that store looking at the large selection of monga and anime figures. It was at this place where I made my first monga purchase in Japan. With the help of my buddy I picked out the best of the best monga at the store. After that store we moved to the one the only super potato store. This was one of the top places I wanted to hit in Akihabara because I had heard tails of a very rare pokemon game only found in japan dwelling there. Sure enough I found me pokemon green version. I did not hesitate to buy this game because I have always wanted to experience it but couldn't because it is not sold in America, needless to say it was an easy purchase. After I got my game we moved on to another store that sold a lot of anime treasures, this is where ryan got his gondome which was very awesome. after this we went to the Sega gaming building to play some games. the first game was a type of Japanese game that I had never seen before, It required a tone of hand eye coordination and skill both things I do not have. After i attempted to play the game my buddies showed us how to do it and dominated it. The next game was my favorite, the awesome tyco drum game. I played like one song and then my buddies once again showed me way up. They put the game on the highest difficulty and played one of the most difficult songs in the game. They were talking about how sore there forarms were for about an hour afterwords. once this game was done we all went to get a little ice cream and then it was back to the games. We went back to the Sega game hall and played a few games one being mario cart followed by a more realistic racing game. After I dominated the computer it was time to go get some awesome Japanese curry. This was my first time actually having curry in a curry shop and man oh man was it ever good!! Best curry I have had in japan sense I have been here!! after the curry shop it was time to go back to our home sweet hostel where we said buy to our buddies. It was a sweet day
