Japan Day 4

Today marked our first day of actual classes. Getting acquainted with Dr. V was really great. It is clear he has lots of knowledge to share. I look forward to all the of the information I will learn on this amazing trip. Classes are from 9-10:30, and then generally have some sort of activity involving the city afterwards. After this class, however, we had nothing but free time. Dr. Sellars invited me and a few other students along on a view of the shrine close to our hostel. Sensoji is a temple used to house the emperors treasures. As you can see by the picture, it was an immaculate experience. This was also an amazing place for me to practice meditation.
