Baseball and Harajuku
Above is a picture of the what the Tokyo Dome looks like inside. A full sized stadium completely covered. It was really great getting to take a look at what Japanese baseball is all about and what the environment had to offer. It felt like it was very much less rowdy than that of America. Our friend Haruna didn't seem like she was into that sort of event. After we all had enough of it we gathered everyone and headed for Harajuku to do some shopping. We walked a great bit in Harajuku, making our way in and out of alot of stores, buying things that we wanted either for ourselves or for our family and friends. The others in my group got all f their shopping done and got everything in order for when they returned. Me, on the other hand, went to this really exciting store called Kamo and purchased a custom soccer jersey with my name written in Japanese on the back of it. (personally I think I made the best purchase of the day) We met up with some of the Japanese students and had a fantastic dinner at an underground pasta bar. It was to die for, and us being starved for essentially the entire day, we scarfed down our fair share. It was a good day with friends and food.
