Day 4

Today we didn’t have an early morning class so we went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office which has offices all throughout but then at the very top is where you could see the skyline and the city. At the top, they had little gifts that you could buy, and they also served ice cream, cakes, and stuff like that. While up there I took a couple of pictures and bought a hat that says Tokyo that I thought was cool and something I could make an outfit with. My class then went to a place called Me Tokyo which had 2 floors of claw machines that had plush toys for days and days. The games only cost 100 yen I tried them a couple of times, but they were rigid because when it picked up the stuffed animal it would open a little and drop it, making it so you couldn’t win if you didn’t have the perfect angle. On the third floor, you could dress up and take pictures to make yourself look the beauty standard out here. The choices to dress up in were endless, you rent it for two hours and go anywhere in the building and take pictures in the different photo booths. After some time, there we were getting ready to leave and tired one more time at the stuffed animals, but they still cheated me lol. The Me Tokyo place was near a Japanese mall, so we went to check it out, they had some nice stuff but the why their sizes run is crazyyyy. I am a size 12 in bottoms which is a large but in most stores that we went to they don’t even sell a large, they only carry two sizes, small and large. If they did have a large it was not a lol, it was more like a med, but it was to be expected because they are way smaller than us. After looking around at all the different shops they had we decided to call it quits because we were hungry, so we tried to go to Starbucks, but the ones here don’t have sandwiches they all just have sweets which is not bad, but we just wanted something quick to hold us over till we got back to Ueno. So just left and headed back to the train, once we got back to Ueno we tried this place called Cranes that sold burgers and fries basically like an American core place. I give that a solid 8/10 after we ate that we went back to the room and chilled.
