We started the day off with a guest speaker that was Dr. V’s professor when he was in school, he talked to us about life in Japan and I learned that less than 20 % of people here have a passport, meaning that most of them have never left Japan, not in their adult life. When he got done talking to us, we got ready to see the biggest Buddha in the world but before we could get there, we had to walk like 2 miles from the train to get there in the rain and up many hills. The walk was worth the wait, the rainy sky made the view just 100% better to me. We stayed there for about 30 mins then left to go to the next one. At this point, I was ready to go home because I got bad news from home, so I wasn’t really feeling it anymore. After we left the Buddha, we went to another temple that had just as great a view. While there I got bought some ice cream that was really good 10/10. Whenever we got done some people chose to stay and others chose to leave, I was part of the group that left because I was hungry and wanted food near the room. Once I got the food I went to the room and took a shower and went to bed.
