Chill For Day 2

To start the day, we went to orientation that started which started at 9 AM. I slept pretty good for the first night but when I woke up, I was sleepy because our bodies were still on Tennessee time. During the orientation we talked about the dos and don’ts, it was basically the same thing that you talk about in the zoom call once you get accepted to the program. While there we got our emergency cards that have your name, where you are staying, and who to call if something happens to you if when out. We also gave Dr. V our passports so that he could get our train passes, that last us a week. Once that was over, I went over to the market to get some pancakes and orange juice before we went to class. Our class meeting wasn’t much of class more of a quick meet up and check in but while there Dr. V gave us a pass to go to the zoo. At the zoo we had to go and look at the animals and then walk around the park that that is outside the zoo. When we were walking the park outside the zoo, we had to us listen to an audio on GPSmycity, the audio tells you about the different things that are in the park and what they mean. To me the zoo was kind of sad because if you didn’t know they drug the animals so the don’t act as wild, for example the tigers were slow moving and looked rather skinny. As well as the gorillas and some monkeys, also they had the polar bear cut off from the water part of his cage, so he was just walking from door to door trying to get through to water, it was truly a terrible sight to see. Even they were drugged up a bit the gorillas seem to be enjoying each other. After leaving the park and zoo we were going to do a boat ride, but we decided not and just came back to the room because we were sleepy. When we got to the room, we made plans to go to a ramen place that was about a 10 mins away at 8 PM, until when we rested. When 8 came we got up and walked over to the ramen we kind of got lost because it was on the outside of the train station but maps was taking us inside the train station but soon figured out that it was on the outside. It was no rush to the place because they didn’t close until 6 AM. We had to wait in a line that moved rather quick and once we got to the front, we order the ramen. At this place it’s not like a regular restaurant with tables all over the room but instead think of little cubicles with dividers that you can open up so you can talk to the person next to you. I didn’t really care for the ramen it was too creamy for me but two of my friends did, oh and they only drink you’re going to get there is water lol so drink up. After we ate we came back to our room and got ready for bed.
