Day 12 Disneyland

 

Since we couldn’t have tea during the week, we had to have it today, Saturday morning. We had to be there at 11 AM and when we got there, they were waiting on us. The kind of tea we had was matcha but with no creamer, sugar, or milk so that made it really nasty. Since we were in front of the tea master, even if we didn’t like it, we had to act as if we did. To start off we had to eat sweets first, but the sweets weren’t “sweets” at all lol, they tasted like lox calorie candy. While we ate the sweets the tea master started to make the tea and told us why she was cleaning the tools. She only made one cup in front of us then another woman in the back made the rest of the tea. When they bring the tea to you, they put the best side of the cup in front of you but out of respect you say no to that side and drink from the other side because you are not good enough for that side. Once you finish, you should give a big sip at the end to let the tea master know that it was good and that you are done. After it was over, we made our way to Disneyland and that took about 40 mins. We tried to get fast passes, but they don’t do that at Disney land yet, but they do it at Disney Sea. Since it rained earlier in the day it wasn’t as hot as it was when we went to Disney Sea. The first thing we did was get more ears because the price here is way better than at home. At home, ears start at $35 but here in Japan they are $13, and the only ones that were like $20 and up were the ones that were for the park's 40^th birthday. We started on the Star Wars ride, it was another ride where we didn’t know what they were saying but the visuals were nice lol. The only ride that had English, except for the warnings, was It’s a small world ride and that’s because they sing the song in different languages at the end. Overall, I give this park a 5/10 because it had more rides, but it probably would have been better if I knew what they were saying. Once we got done, we left so we could beat the crowd and then I came back to the room and went to bed.
