Day 12 the TNCIS Marketing group returned back to the fancy resort with the beautiful garden to attend the official Japanese tea party. There we were shown the steps and ways a traditional tea party is held in Japan. Typically before tea, Japanese eat sweets. We received two sweets, a pink one that was completely sugar and a second sugar one that had beans mixed into it. I was not a fan of the bean one but I finished it because it was the traditional thing to do. Our instructor then showed us how she makes matcha tea with no sugar or milk. We were then shown the proper way to drink the tea and finish it off. After the tea party, we headed to Tokyo Disneyland to experience the other side of the park. Since this was a weekday the park was way more crowded than our last visits. Some rides had waits that surpassed two hours. We rode as many rides as we could but cut it short due to us not wanting to be caught in the crowd to leave.
