Day 2 was quite jam packed even though we had just got off of a plane less than 24 hours from our activities. First we started off our day with a TNCIS Group Orientation that took place from 9 am to 10 am. I don’t know how everyone was able to make it one time because I was struggling getting up that morning. After orientation we received our weekly yen amounts and were given our first assignment for our class and the time the class would take place.. Our first assignment was doing a walkthrough of Ueno Park. Ueno Park was a big park located close to our hostel that housed many museums, shrines, a zoo, and markets. The walkthrough lasted around an hour and thirty minutes. Me and my roommates visited the zoo where we saw many animals, except the ones we were looking for. The walkthrough was a lengthy assignment and we didn’t know the zoo had another side so we missed about half the other animals. We also visited the many museums located at the park. We even took a walk around the lake and saw the paddling floating geese in a lake near Ueno’s. After the zoo we had class at 5 pm, there we shared our discoveries and went over the class syllabus. After class we decided to try Ichiran Ramen, I rated it a 8/10. The ramen was good but the richness/thickness of the broth started to leave an aftertaste after a while.
