Day 1

 Majority of Day 1 in Tokyo was spent on a plane. We had just arrived at Haneda Tokyo Airport in  Tokyo, Japan after a 13 to 14 hour flight from Dallas, Texas at around 6 or 7 pm. Majority of everyone was tired and just ready to lay down after the long flight. Due to the timing we had arrived everyone knew we were probably not going to be able to do anything the first day of arrival. While at the airport we had to go through a long crazy customs line that felt like it took forever to get through. You thought you were closer to the end than another loop was there. After getting through customs it was pretty smooth. We met up with Professor Lukosius and took the train back to the hostel. The train ride was very smooth but was tiring due to us carrying our heavy luggage. While riding the train we were able to see glimpses of Tokyo while riding or transferring trains. It took the whole group about 2 hours to get to the hostel due to us being a very large group. We arrived at the hostel around 8 pm. After putting our luggage up, me and my roommates went to the local Family Mart to try and find some snacks after the long flight.
