Day 12

 This morning my class was able to come back to Happo-en’s tea house in their beautiful garden and participate in a tea ceremony. I learned the person who served the tea in a tea house is called the tea master. The tea master at this specific tea house was a kind older woman named Yuko. She was a very patient and thorough teacher and was very welcoming to all questions. We were not allowed to record the tea ceremony and she told us that we were allowed to take as many pictures as we would like. It was a very educational ceremony and the tea was great. 

After the tea ceremony, my roommates and I made our way to the Tokyo DisneyLand resort. To get there we needed to purchase a ticket on the JR line. It was a long ride out to Disney but we had a wonderful time!
