Day 9

For day 8 we visited Temple University. Temple University is an American university that has a branch in Japan. It was extremely interesting to find out about the University through the principal. They provided us a lunch which was a pork cutlet bento box. The bento wasn’t my favorite since it was cold. We learned that tuition at Temple is super cheap and we can get our bachelors or masters at the university. Later that night we went to Ameyoko, aka candy lane, where we met a super fun stranger. He asked us about our hair and my glasses and we ended up eating at a restaurant he recommended. The food was great and the owners were extremely inviting! There were plenty of shops and thrift stores around this area too. I also tried a candy called mitsuya cider. The candy had a nice flavor and fizzed in your mouth the entire time eating it!
