Today was our first free day, so my roommates and I decided to spend the day in Shibuya. Before we left for the metro, we decided to try Indian food. It was pretty good and they had foods and drinks that I was familiar with! This was our first time traveling on the metro alone but navigating was fairly easy since we were in a group for the previous days. The walking ramped up heavily this day, my apple watch says we walked over 20,000 steps. In Shibuya we visited stores like A Bathing Ape, Gucci, and The Disney Store. Tax free and the power on the dollar vs yen is definitely coming in handy! The prices here are amazing! We left late so we didn’t go with the excursion group but we saw the Nintendo Store, Shibuya Crossing, The Pokémon Center, and the Shonen Jump Store. For dinner we stayed in Shibuya and got Shake Shack. They’re an American chain but had differences in set up such as a hand washing station, lack on bathrooms, employees just to guide people in the line, and a seasonal lychee lemonade.
