I arrived in Tokyo, Japan, on May 7th around 2 pm after spending roughly 14 hours on the plane. The moment we got off the plane, I was hit with excitement and exhaustion. But we had to go through customs; after leaving customs, we had to take two monorails, aka trains, to get to our hostel. The trains were actually were easy to navigate. I noticed everyone walks here in Tokyo and they move super fast, especially during rush hour! After arriving at our hostel, my roommates and I went to Family Mart, the convenience store across from our hostel, to get dinner. The pasta I had was actually much better than I expected about a 8.5/10. We then showered and went to bed. The time difference from home is a big adjustment, LOL.
