Sanja Matsuri Festival/Tokyo Tower

May 18: Sunday was my last free day of the week and the last day of the three day long Sanja Matsuri Festival. The festival was approximately five blocks long in every direction and expanded to the Shensoji temple which was a place for Japanese people to sing, dance, chant, and perform traditional rituals. The festival was filled with thousands of people who come all over Japan. There was a variety of food venues, souvenirs shops, and clothing stores. I bought two Japanese wooden dolls and a miniature samauri sword. I could spend the rest of the night at the festival but I had plans that night to see the Tokyo Tower AKA the replica of the Effel Tower. Once I walked off the train station I could see the Tower right in front of me illuminating in the sky. My friends and I hurried inside to take the elevator to the top of the tower(good thing I'm not afraid of heights). The view was amazing I could see all of Tokyo through the window, I was able to see Sunshine City, Rainbow Bridge, and the Tokyo Dome. The Effel Tower in Paris can not beat the view I was looking at this Sunday night.
