May 19, 2014: The Stores Representing the 4 P's of Marketing

Matsuya Ginza

Matsuya Ginza is a high end, luxury store. It represents the Product principle of Marketing because consumers come here for the product brands' quality. Pictured below is the store's sign, a Celine purse display, and one Celine purse.




Sasaki Tobacco

Saski Tobacco is a specialty shop. It represents a combination of Product and Place principles of Marketing. People come here because of the tobacco products and accessories. What I observed of the area it is the only tobacco shop within 4 blocks. Pictured below is the store's signage and a picture of a tobacco pipe ($9000 Yen).

















Sunkus    

    Sunkus is a convenience store. It represents Price, Place, and Product of the principles of Marketing. It offers a variety of products at a reasonable price and is located close to the busy Ginza district. Picture below Sunkus storefront accepting a delivery and gray carts stacked in front of the store.

                                     


Sanpei Store

The Sanpei Store is a food market. It represents price and products of marketing. The prices are low and offer a variety of products. Pictured below is the store sign and fresh packaged fruits.






           

Discount Store

Various store names at this building. It relies on price and promotion as apart of its principles of Marketing. These stores are not well known they have to rely on promotion to advertise their price for the products being sold. Pictured below is the store building.
